Once we receive the necessary information and documentation, our internal team will review it. Then our claim adjusters will take appropriate measures for your specific demand. Finally, we will inform you of our decision and close the demand.
Every process is unique and needs to be handled differently. At PSIC, we understand that this can create uncertainty, so we are unable to provide an estimated timeframe. Payment time may vary depending on the severity and complexity of the demand.
We are committed to responding as quickly as possible because we care about our policyholders. Our goal is to provide a resolution and, if applicable, complete the payment as soon as possible.
In most cases, insurance claim payments are not considered taxable income. It is always recommended to consult with a tax professional or refer to the relevant laws to determine if any portion of your claim payment is subject to taxation.
Sometimes, it may happen that your claim is not covered. In this situation, you will receive a document that explains the reasons why your demand did not receive protection. If you have any questions, you can consult with your producer.
