Non-renewal in the insurance world refers to the situation where an insurance company decides not to renew your policy when it expires. This means that the company will not continue to provide coverage for you after the policy term ends.
There are several reasons why an insurance company might choose not to renew a policy, including:
It’s important to note that insurance companies are not required to provide a reason for non-renewing a policy. However, if you’re facing non-renewal, it’s a good idea to contact your insurer to find out why and to discuss your options.
At PSIC, we believe in providing our customers with seamless and convenient insurance experiences. That’s why we’ve implemented an auto-renewal policy for all our insurance products.
This means that when your current policy reaches its expiration date, you’ll automatically receive a new policy with the terms and conditions of the new contract. This ensures that you’re always covered without any interruption.
We understand that your needs may change over time. That’s why we give you the flexibility to modify your policy before the expiration date of your previous one. Whether you want to increase your coverage, add additional drivers, or make any other changes, you can easily do so by contacting your producer.
If for any reason we decide not to renew your policy, we’ll provide you with ample notice. At least 30 days before the expiration date, we’ll send you a formal communication detailing the reasons for our decision. This gives you time to find alternative coverage and ensure that you’re not left unprotected.
Our commitment to transparency and customer satisfaction is what sets us apart. By providing you with clear information and ample time to make necessary adjustments, we strive to make your insurance experience as smooth and hassle-free as possible.
