These discounts include the protective device discount, meaning that if a vessel is equipped with automatic fire extinguishing equipment, a central station monitoring system, an alarm system (high water/fire/theft), or a no strike lightning system, a single discount is granted. There is also a boater’s safety course discount which is granted if the operator has earned a license or degree in one or more of the following: Coast Guard Auxiliary, Coast Guard Course, Captain’s License, Chapman Boating School, Marine Pilot’s License, Merchant Marine License, Power Squadron Course, State & Federal Accredited Maritime Academy, State Administered Safety Course, Commercial Aviation License. Please note that only one discount will be given regardless of the number of operators or completed courses.
In terms of payment options, we are proud to offer flexible plans. This personalized preference ensures that clients are able to choose from a range of deductibles, take advantage of automatic renewal to prevent a lapse in coverage, and select from full, 3, or 5-month pay plans.
