Keep Your Clients Afloat

Keep Your Clients Afloat

Ladies and jet skis, it’s officially summer! And with the change of season comes more time spent on the water. If your clients plan to veg out on their vessels, SPF isn’t the only thing they should pack. Personalized Watercraft coverage is a quick and easy thing to get that can be served a la carte or added to a customers’ pre-existing Homeowners policy (which comes with its own discount, might we add).

Pacific Specialty offers coverage for boats from 15 feet all the way up to 26 feet in length, and sailboats from 15 feet up to 36 feet in length. Included in the Pleasure Boat program is optional coverage for transportation trailers, personal property, and Towing and Assistance. The Personal Watercraft Program covers vessels up to 15 feet in length and includes optional Physical Damage, Watersports Liability, Transport Trailer, and medical coverage.

“Summer is here, it’s watercraft season. Make sure [your clients] are covered. There are a lot of people out on the water. Play it safe. Getting your watercraft policy in place before the busy season starts is essential. As the old adage goes, better safe than sorry,” says Ted Longworth, product manager for Pacific Specialty Insurance Company.

Pacific Specialty offers various discounts on watercraft coverage to encourage clients to bundle their policies. In addition to the countless multi-policy discounts, there are safety feature discounts if a vessel includes things like water brakes or idle assist. Customers can also receive discounts from being an American Watercraft Association (AWA) member or by taking the AWA safety course. And the best thing? Pacific Specialty even offers 6-month policy terms if your clients plan to only use their personal watercraft(s) in the summer months.

Pacific Specialty is proud to custom design Marine Programs so that agents can tailor the coverage options to meet the needs of their consumers. The process is simple. Quotes are quick. And agents are able to ease the worries of their clients by offering our premiere coverage.
