We are always working hard to make sure we offer the most competitive pricing in the marketplace, and are excited to roll out these recent rate decreases in select areas of California.

Pacific Specialty has a Dwelling Fire policy specifically tailored towards Seasonal and Vacant properties. Seasonal homes are available under both the DP-1 and DP-3 program, which can include animal liability as well. Vacant homes are only available under the DP-1 program and can be written for a 3-month or 12-month term. Vacant homes may only be in the vacant program for 12 months. It is important to note that DP-1 refers to losses that are covered on an Actual Cash Value (ACV) basis whereas DP-3 is covered on a Replacement Cost basis. Also, DP-3 is an open perils policy, while DP-1 is on a named perils basis.
