(Menlo Park, CA September 23, 2014) After 34 years of devotedly serving as Senior Vice President, Sales for the McGraw Group of Affiliated Companies, Brian Weaver is set to retire September 30.
Weaver originally joined the company when he and Jack McGraw built the Motorcycle Insurance Program and Western Service Contract platforms that still remain trademarks of the McGraw Group.
In the 1990s, Weaver helped in develop a relationship with both the Independent Agencies, as well as an affiliation with Allstate to help grow their property programs. His strong work ethic and leadership was also instrumental in building a strong sales force. Weaver has been the spokesperson and face of the company for many years, and represented what the company stands for: Professionalism, partnership and quality.
It has been a good run, and Ive enjoyed being involved with industry leaders, professional producers, and having the opportunity to lead and mentor a great sales team, Weaver said. Im excited about the continued growth of the company, new leadership, and, personally, more time to enjoy my grandchildren, traveling and relaxing!
To fill the void left by Weaver, the McGraw Group of Affiliated Companies has announced that Cindy Roth will join the company as Senior Vice President of Sales and Distribution beginning September 24.
Roth has more than 25 years of experience working in insurance sales and underwriting, most recently as the Division Executive for The Harfords Southwest Territory. She has spent 10 years at The Hartford, and has also worked with companies including Travelers, Marsh, Kemper Insurance Company and Everest National.
